Garlic is commonly eaten cooked, fried, baked, roasted, glazed and even raw.
At one of the trade shows we were demonstrating how The Garlic Chop worked. And, along comes this cute little 9 year old girl (with her parents) and starts eating raw peeled garlic cloves. She was even polite sufficient to ask! "Can I eat some of your garlic?" and her mom says "she does this all the time". I cringed when I saw her eat it raw. I was so impressed, I figured if she can do this, so can I.... So, later that night I proceeded in eating a big clove of garlic.
Health Story
Oh man, it hurt later on. How that little girl did it was beyond my understanding. You see, some of the garlic health benefits are that garlic is not Acidic as some may think, it is Alkaline on the Ph scale. This is yet an additional one hypothesize why garlic is salutary for you. Always make sure you are piquant lots of alkaline foods. This will help prevent cancers and diseases from victorious in your body. Things like ketchup and vinegar are acidic. So, just eat more garlic!
In addition, garlic contains Allicin, a substance that can cause us humans intestinal and digestive tract problems if eaten raw. And don't let your pets eat it raw, it could be their last meal.
Another time a consolidate came by our booth. The woman told me how she had to take her husband to the hospital because he was eating too much garlic. You see, she said he chews it and shop it in the side of his mouth, making his cheek bulge out like a chipmunk. He approximately put a hole straight through the side of his mouth! This is not one of the garlic health benefits. Can you believe that??
